This beautiful fish from the rare and endangered species Acipenser stellatus can be found in the Black Sea and in the waters of the Danube river. Its slender body can reach a weight of 70 kgs and a length of 2 meters (snout included). Here, the texture of the paint applied thickly with a palette knife makes it look like the fish is swimming in blue waters. This painting makes me smile every time I look at it!
