Green Lake

The view of the green lake in the Botanical Garden of Iasi City, as we sat on a bench in the shade of a great weeping willow. Light plays with shadow and the grasses shine in the sunlight, as our eye explores the variety of greens in this little landscape, created entirely with a palette knife. The paint is spread on the canvas like butter on bread, dabbed, flicked and scratched with the knife point, creating interesting textures.
