ARTA UNICA Ltd. was founded in 2025 in Iasi City, Romania by the artist Mădălina Gavrilă.

ARTA UNICA only sells unique original paintings made by the hand of the artist and framed professionally.

Each painting is a "little jewel" that is ready to be displayed on the wall in your home.
Every work is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist.

The paintings are currently sold exclusively in Europe.

Tax Invoice is provided with each purchase.

ART THAT LOOKS GOOD IN YOUR HOME

As an artist and as a homeowner I believe that the art that we display in our home should fill us with positive feelings such as energy, joy, love, kindness and curiosity.

Every work that I created I have displayed in my home at some point, some have made me smile, some have given me a much needed boost of optimism, some are just colorful and pretty to look at.

But that is the point of art.

NO PRINTS, NO AI

In today's context of historic uncertainty and growing need for cultural values, with the rising of AI generated images, with art viewed as "content" and generic mass produced items that are marketed as "art", I believe the most valuable thing we have is our craft, our inherent human ability to see with our eyes and create art with our hands, modelled through our very personal filter of life experience and memory.

For this reason ARTA UNICA will never create work with the "assistance" of AI and will only sell original artwork created by the hand of the artist with traditional materials.

You can be sure each painting is UNIQUE in the world as ARTA UNICA only sells the original paintings and will never sell prints or copies.

CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY

Each painting is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist.

The COA is the guarantee that the work is an original created by the hand of the artist, it also specifies the time and place of the work's creation.

DELIVERY AND PAYMENT INFORMATION

When you see a painting that you like and you want to purchase for your home, please click on the button Purchase Original Painting.

This will add the painting to your Shopping Cart in the top right corner of the page. From there you will need to click the Checkout button to continue.

Next step is to click More payment options to go to the payment and delivery details.

My website will ask you to enter your email address where you want to receive the invoice and delivery updates, make sure this is written correctly and click on Continue.

Then it will ask you to write the address where you want the painting to be delivered. Sometimes it suggests addresses based on what you start writing. If the address suggested is correct, you can select it.

The shipping is free in the European Union, Switzerland, Norway and the United Kingdom. This is because the delivery costs are not significant, so I prefer to factor them in the price of the painting without bothering the collector with extra fees.

If you want the name and address that you entered now to appear on the invoice, under Billing address, please select the box Use shipping address.

If you want a different name and address to appear on the invoice, then do not select the box Use shipping address and fill in the details that you want to appear on the invoice in the fields below.

Once the address is written, you can Continue to payment.

There are 3 payment options:

  • debit card;

  • Google Pay;

  • PayPal - please note that for this option you also need to create a PayPal account beforehand.

Once the painting is purchased, you will automatically receive a Tax Invoice to your email address.

The painting will be packaged and shipped to you in the next available open hours of the Romanian Post Office or by a private shipping company (depending on your delivery address).

The framed painting will be wrapped in plastic wrap, then I add a protective layer of felt, a second protective layer of bubble wrap and then it will be packaged in a large cardboard box labeled as Fragile.

Once the painting is in the custody of the Romanian Post Office or a private shipping company (depending on your delivery address), I will send you a confirmation email and updates on the delivery status.

All that is left now is to hang your new original oil painting on your wall (they are all framed and have a hanger on the back) and enjoy it every day!

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Hello! I am Mădălina Gavrilă, a painter living and working in Iasi City, Romania. I was born in 1990 and am very much a 90s kid. I am also a Buddhist who loves minimalism, interior design and the color red.

Why I paint:

I have a Bachelor in Philology and all my adult life I have worked in offices and corporate environments, in cubicles or between white walls.
I feel that there is a hardness and a blandness to our modern spaces, our buildings, our offices, even our homes, the places where we live, work and are supposed to enjoy our life.

So I paint flowers, fruits that are sweet and colorful, landscapes that are quiet and zen and abstract paintings that are bold and energizing.
Through my paintings I want to bring back color, joy and curiosity in our space and everyday life.
